Journalist Avi Ravina posted a video this week of the men’s section of a separate beach in Ashdod that is overcrowded with hundreds of men and boys in a small area.
Ravina wrote: “Only about 10% of the beaches in Israel are separate beaches for the Dati and Chareidi public although they make up 23% of the population. This has to change!”
Haaretz journalist Chaim Levinson commented: “Opinion: My friend Avi is correct. Some separate beaches should be added just for Bein HaZemamin. This state of affairs isn’t reasonable.”
According to a Kikar H’Shabbat report, the separate beach in Netanya was so crowded one day this week that the municipality blocked the entrance. At other beaches, it was difficult for people to find a spot to enter the water.
In its coalition agreement with Likud, the UTJ party extracted a commitment from the government to advance efforts to designate additional separate beaches.

Based on what YWN has said about Haaretz, I guess Haaretz is trying to reduce the frum population by drowning.
Haaretz. Never lets up. Hashem doesn’t either. Guess who is greater.
Huju: From a purely public health and safety perspective, you would have to be crazy to enter the water with this type of crowding.
Yes, bein ha Z’manim is packed time at the beaches for the religious crowd. and I mean PACKED!
If Haaretz opined this, then there must be quite some truth to it… Well, I guess I am just used to that situation.
All beaches need to be separate. Whether in Cozumel, Mexico; Ibiza, Spain; Bondi Beach, Australia; Parlee Beach, Canada; Nags Head, North Carolina; or Rehoboth Beach, Delaware i have seen & experienced it all & can tell you 1st hand that anywhere there is mixed beaches there is a lower level of tsnius & a higher level of Laytsunis (especially but not limited to the teenage Beach goers).
We need to put an end to this machla that is destroying Yiddishkeit & the whole world.
yes Haaretz , we need more beaches. but not necessarily so, what we need is more people ravening, we don’t need secular nor so we need the slime of another other than Chareidim
